What are the responsibilities and job description for the Research Scientist position at Eppendorf Inc?
Your challenges Develop and execute experiments to validate and promote current products and new products development in bioprocess. Present and analyze data in a clear, concise format and write drafts of applications notes. Provide training to Eppendorf employees and customers. Collaborate with sales teams and in-field application specialists to address application and solution inquiries, emphasizing application-related needs in Cell and Gene Therapy (CGT) and Cell Biology. Produce project reports, short protocols, and applications note for internal and external publications. Perform product validation and demos against customer needs. Must follow and enforce Company safety regulations and requirements (focus on Enfield application lab). Ability to travel up to 30%, both domestically and internationally Your expertise Ph.D. degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Bioprocess, Bioengineering, or other related life science advanced degrees required. Experience with T-cell cultures, including CAR-T, iPSC or MSCs is required. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to statistical analysis (e.g., frequency distributions, test reliability, R², standard deviations). Excels at networking and cultivating relationships with customers and stakeholders to support business objectives and enhance customer satisfaction Excellent computer skills in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience working with industrial bioreactors in Academia, R&D, PD, Applications labs, or Biopharmaceutical settings is preferred Preferred skills include software programming, bioprocess engineering, and cell culture scale-up.
