We are seeking a fulltime Receptionist with a medical background [preferred], for our busy family practice. The ideal candidate is someone who is friendly, organized, detail oriented and comfortable with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. Our receptionists are responsible for answering phones, checking in patients, taking co-pay, scheduling appointments, filing, faxing and retrieving faxes and communicating with other office staff to keep the office running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors to the appropriate areas.
- Answer telephones, direct calls to the appropriate areas.
- Schedule patient appointments, complete referrals.
- Track medical records.
- Communicate with insurance providers and other medical offices.
- Process payments from patients.
- Familiar with computer systems.
- Other responsibilities as required.
License Qualifications (Preferred but not required):
- Medical Assistant - Registered or
- Medical Assistant - Certified
Pay:
$19-$21, Depending on Experience
