Job Overview

Epoxy Coating Specialists is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to oversee a multi-year, high-visibility flooring project in Jacksonville, FL. This role demands a self-sufficient, experienced leader capable of managing every aspect of project delivery—from scope and schedule oversight to cost control and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous role and contribute immediately to the success of this NFL stadium project over a 3-year period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales/estimating to build accurate budgets and installation plans.

  • Attend pre-bid site visits, scope reviews, and kickoff meetings.

  • Confirm client specifications and document project scope.

  • Develop comprehensive work plans, schedules, and equipment needs.

  • Coordinate material logistics, subcontractors, and site operations.

  • Lead weekly progress meetings and ensure clear internal/external communication.

  • Track and manage project costs, schedules, and change orders.

  • Oversee punch lists, warranty documentation, and project closeout.

  • Serve as the client’s primary point of contact—resolving challenges proactively.

  • Align jobsite crews with client expectations and company standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred).

  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing construction projects independently.

  • Proven track record with scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor oversight.

  • Skilled in project management software, ERP systems, and scheduling tools.

  • OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification required.

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and client-facing skills.

  • Valid driver’s license with ability to travel and stay overnight as needed.

Schedule

  • Travel: Substantial travel required, including long-term stays during project phases
