What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Director/Director Clinical Operations position at EPM Scientific?
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 11 years leading end-to-end clinical trial operations, including global, multi-site studies across complex development programs (experience in specialty indications and/or rare disease a plus).
- Proven people leader who can roll up sleeves while building, coaching, and directly managing Clinical Operations talent (e.g., CTMs/CRAs and related roles).
- Strong working knowledge of the clinical development lifecycle and global regulatory expectations, including FDA/EMA considerations and ICH/GCP standards.
- Demonstrated success selecting, contracting, and overseeing CROs/vendors, including governance, performance management, and issue resolution.
- Comfortable owning and tracking trial budgets, forecasts, and operational/financial reporting.
- Effective communicator with the ability to partner with investigators, sites, vendors, and internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area
- Must have experience in ophthalmology or extensive rare disease experience
- Must have small biotech experience and be used to working in a lean environment
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S for any employer, no sponsorship available
Salary : $190,000 - $260,000
