As we continue to grow, we are seeking an Instructional Designer to create engaging, accessible training materials that enable clients to use and understand our products and services effectively.


Your Role

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented professional to develop engaging and effective training materials for our clients.


This role is responsible for editing, creating, and maintaining high-quality training modules and other videos that help customers successfully use our products and services. A critical and immediate focus of this position is to ensure all training materials meet WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.


The successful candidate brings a strong foundation in instructional design principles and visual design, with the ability to create clear, engaging, and easy-to-follow learning materials. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with experienced subject matter experts specializing in cybersecurity, HR/employment practices, and abuse prevention. The candidate will be both creative in design and detail oriented.


What You’ll Do

  • Oversee brand usage within training modules to ensure alignment with organizational vision and goals.
  • Design, develop, and maintain customer-focused instructional materials and training resources, including:

o  eLearning training modules

o Video tutorials and walkthroughs with voiceover

  • Partner with the Operations team to develop and maintain product materials and help resources.
  • Translate industry concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly learning content.
  • Collaborate with product managers, support teams, and subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy of content.
  • Apply instructional design methodologies to develop engaging learning experiences for a range of audiences.
  • Develop visual learning resources (e.g., diagrams, screenshots, infographics, and workflows) aligned with company style guidelines.
  • Produce and coordinate the production of training videos.
  • Maintain and update documentation to reflect product enhancements and new features.
  • Ensure content follows brand standards and maintains a consistent tone and visual style.
  • Organize and maintain training materials within documentation systems and learning platforms.
  • Troubleshoot publishing and compatibility issues across browsers, devices, and LMS environments.


Technology Stack Experience Required:

  • Articulate Storyline
  • Adobe Creative Suite, or proven experience with similar design software
  • MS and Visio skills
  • Skills using LMS platforms


What We’re Looking For

  • 2 years of experience in instructional design/graphic design, with a focus on training and development materials
  • Strong experience creating customer-facing eLearning materials, from graphics to text and audio
  • Experience troubleshooting SCORM publishing, LMS behavior, and cross-browser/device compatibility issues
  • Demonstrated experience applying WCAG 2.1 AA standards to content, including accessibility testing and remediation
  • A portfolio demonstrating your ability to design instructional content
  •  Experience producing visual learning assets and training videos
  • Understanding of instructional design frameworks
  • UX or visual design experience
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
  • Demonstrated ability to concisely communicate design concepts from creative pitches through design specification guidelines, written and in person
  • Desire to be part of a high-performing environment; there is a need for quick turnaround in asset creation
  • Proven ability to think critically and creatively; present ideas with confidence and clarity


Compensation and Benefits

  • The base pay range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, and the role may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Actual pay will vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
