Role Description The Production Operator role is a full-time, on-site position located in Rincon, GA. In this role, the Production Operator is responsible for operating manufacturing equipment, assembling components, and monitoring production lines to ensure consistent output and product quality. Daily activities include following standardized work instructions, performing basic setups and adjustments, and inspecting parts for defects or nonconformities. The Production Operator documents production data, communicates issues to supervisors or maintenance personnel, and supports corrective actions to minimize downtime. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and quality procedures, and participating in training to learn new processes or equipment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in machine operation and working on production lines, including the ability to follow standardized procedures and meet production targets.
- Knowledge of quality control practices, including visual inspection, measurement, and basic documentation of findings.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment and escalate issues when needed.
- Experience participating in or providing on-the-job training, cross-training, or skills transfer within a production setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in manufacturing or automotive parts production is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move materials as required, and safely operate tools and equipment.
- Attention to detail, reliability in attendance and performance, and willingness to follow safety and quality guidelines at all times.
- Basic computer or data entry skills for recording production information are a plus.
