We are seeking an experienced JIT/JIS Logistics Specialist to support the development and execution of logistics and material flow processes within an automotive manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with JIT/JIS operations at an OEM and a strong understanding of automotive supply chain processes, supplier collaboration, and material flow management.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead JIT/JIS process and equipment development initiatives.
- Drive material flow management activities to support production requirements.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and uninterrupted production support.
- Support product planning activities by integrating logistics and supply chain requirements.
- Lead cross-functional teams involving logistics, production, planning, quality, and suppliers.
- Manage and evaluate change requests while ensuring alignment with business and operational requirements.
- Conduct process audits and ensure compliance with automotive industry standards and regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency, quality, and operational performance.
- Utilize transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and other logistics tools to support material flow planning and optimization.
- Monitor logistics performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or JIT/JIS process management within the automotive industry.
- Hands-on experience with JIT/JIS logistics at an automotive OEM.
- Experience and knowledge of VDA, ISO, and other automotive industry standards and regulations.
- Experience performing process audits.
- Strong understanding of Change Management principles, including steering and evaluating change requests within an automotive environment.
- Experience with traffic management tools/software (e.g., TMS, WMS), JIS logistics, and material flow planning.
- Strong supplier collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting automotive product launches and production ramp-ups.
- Knowledge of route optimization and traffic management processes.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
