We are seeking a Board-Certified Music Therapist to join our Hospice Interdisciplinary Team. This role offers a unique opportunity to use music as a therapeutic tool to enhance comfort, connection, and quality of life for patients and their families.

Position Details
• Team: Hospice Interdisciplinary Team
• Reports To: Director of Clinical Operations
• Travel required within service area
What You’ll Do
Clinical & Patient Care
• Complete music therapy assessments for patients and families
• Provide individualized music therapy interventions addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs
• Utilize evidence-based music therapy techniques and culturally responsive repertoire
• Support comfort, memory recall, emotional expression, and end-of-life care goals
• Apply best practices in hospice and palliative care
Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration
• Partner with nurses, social workers, chaplains, and other team members to coordinate care
• Support patients, families, and caregivers throughout the care journey
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
• Promote continuity of care across services
Regulatory Compliance & Quality
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Ensure a safe and supportive care environment
• Follow hospice regulations and infection control standards
Operational & Organizational Support
• Collaborate with leadership to support efficient care delivery
• Contribute to patient satisfaction and quality improvement efforts
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in music therapy from an AMTA-accredited program
• Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle
• Ability to travel within the service area
Preferred
• Experience in hospice or palliative care
Physical & Work Environment
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
• Work in hospice homes, patient residences, and community settings
• Exposure to emotionally sensitive situations
• Occasional evening or weekend availability as needed
Salary : $25 - $34
