Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Nurse Manager and the Perioperative Turnover Supervisor, the Turnover Technician maintains the cleanliness of the Perioperative area as well as performing other tasks and functions vital to the day-to-day running of Perioperative Services.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the nursing staff with patient and room preparation
- Distribute medical and non-medical supplies within the department
- Perform Environment of Care and related tasks in the Ambulatory Suite, Operating Room, Post Anesthesia Care Unit and CSPD
- Perform patient care tasks within the Perioperative Services Department
Requirements:
- High School diploma or Equivalency required
- HSPA (formerly IAHCSMM) CRCST certification preferred
