About The Role

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team in Two Harbors, MN. This is an entry-level, multi-skilled role responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment across our production and facility operations.

This position plays a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.

The pay range for this position is $27.00-$34.00 per hour.

What You’ll Do

• Respond to maintenance work orders and complete repairs safely and efficiently
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems, with and without schematics
• Install, maintain, and support equipment such as:
• CNC machines
• Robotic welding systems
• Cranes, hoists, and automation equipment
• Assist in diagnosing machine alarms, faults, and control issues
• Perform inspections on motors, pumps, and other equipment
• Support preventive maintenance programs and continuous improvement efforts
• Respond to facility-related issues such as alarms, leaks, and emergency repairs
• Document work in maintenance systems and keep manuals up to date
• Operate powered industrial vehicles and assist with general facility upkeep
• Follow all safety procedures and properly use PPE
  
  

What You Bring

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1–2 years of low-voltage electrical maintenance experience
• Basic knowledge of:
• Power distribution and motor controls
• AC/DC variable speed drives
• PLCs and process controls
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Basic computer skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
  
  

Preferred:

• Associate degree in electrical or electronics field
• Journeyman electrician license (MN) or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)
