About the Role
We are seeking a motivatedQuality Control Intern to support a key improvement initiative within our warehouse operations. This project focuses on enhancing the accuracy of scale-based part counting by analyzing weight variability and optimizing tare sample sizes. The intern will gain hands-on experience in quality control, statistical analysis, and cross-functional collaboration - ideal for students looking to break into the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure and record weights of diverse part types using calibrated equipment
- Conduct statistical analysis to determine optimal sample sizes for scale count implementation
- Analyze weight variability across samples to support system calibration and accuracy
- Collaborate with Logistics and Storage teams to align sampling procedures with warehouse operations
- Document methodologies and contribute to the development of standardized processes
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to support project alignment and execution
Desired Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Familiarity with statistical methods and data interpretation
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with Microsoft systems (Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Education Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree or master's degree
- Preferred majors: Engineering, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or related fields
