What we are looking for:
A laboratory specialist and resource responsible for quality, education, and for driving programs within the company with the goal to improve our laboratory outcomes. This individual will focus on providing training, education, and support to all Epiphany providers and team members. The ideal candidate will be totally comfortable with traveling up to 50% of the time within the United States. This position is eligible for remote work in several states.
Drive Epiphany Laboratory Standards within the company and develop action plans to improve performance in collaboration with the Laboratory Medical Director.- Onboard and train new laboratory teammates within the company
- Participate in implementation training for acquisition clinics and laboratories
- Assist in developing action plans, policies, and procedures for all Labs.
- Serve as a leader, providing coaching to Lab teammates to foster growth and drive compliance excellence
Provide excellent customer service to all customers, both in person, telephonically, and in writing.
Demonstrates adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control standards as well as all OSHA standards for bloodborne pathogens, potentially infectious materials and workplace safety.
Operate laboratory equipment according to equipment guidelines.
Assist the Laboratory Medical Director and Pathologists’ Assistant with other duties as assigned.

It’ll help to have/be:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Able to develop training plans and effectively train, based on the individual’s needs
- 1 year of employment with Epiphany Dermatology - preferred
- 1 year of EMA experience – preferred
- Mohs experience – preferred
- 1 year of dermatology experience – preferred
- 1 year of leadership or management experience
- Strong interpersonal and effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks, following through to completion
- Able to receive and apply constructive input for performance improvement and growth
- Strong reasoning, critical thinking, problem solving abilities
Qualifications/Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- One (1) year of employment with Epiphany Dermatology, preferred.
- One (1) year of EMA experience, preferred.
- One (1) year of dermatology experience, preferred.
- Mohs experience, preferred.
- One (1) year of leadership or management experience, preferred.
- Must be available to travel up to 50% of the time within the US
- Remote work available however, must be located in a state where Epiphany Dermatology operates
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Medical office, procedure/exam room and laboratory environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, biohazards or toxic substances. Daily activities may include standing, walking, sitting, bending and lifting items up to 30 lbs.
