Job Summary The Parts Shop Associate will be responsible for assisting our Parts department with inventory of parts, including assisting in receiving, stocking, and distributing parts as needed. This role requires organizational skills, attention to detail, phone etiquette and the ability to work collaboratively with our service team.
You’ll assist with daily parts flow, and ensure vendors and customers receive the right parts on time. This role is ideal for someone with autobody repair knowledge, strong organizational skills, and experience with Excel, and Fullbay (preferred).

Key Responsibilities Assisting Parts Manager when needed for the following
- Receive Parts Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Inventory Management Conduct cycle counts, and ensure proper storage and organization of parts.
- Parts Distribution Distribute parts to technicians promptly, ensuring that the correct parts are provided for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Customer Service Assist customers and technicians in identifying and selecting appropriate parts; provide product information and pricing as requested.
- Maintain Work Area Keep the parts department clean, organized, and in compliance with safety regulations.
- Education High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a parts or inventory role preferred.
- Strong understanding of Heavy Duty Truck parts.
- Strong understanding of Heavy Duty Trailer parts******
- Familiarity with computerized inventory systems is a plus.
- Strong understanding of parts inventory management.
- Monitoring inventory accuracy through cycle counts and full physical counts.
- Strong understanding markup, gross margin, and discounting policies.
- Tracking stock movements receiving, issuing, returns, and transfers.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities; strong attention to detail; effective communication and customer service skills.
- Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
- Good Driving Record Must have a clean driving record. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
