The role requires 60-75% of time in the field meeting with prospects and customers, with the remaining time spent working from the AFS office in Saginaw.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive aggressive sales growth by acquiring new customers, expanding existing accounts, and recovering inactive business
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through disciplined prospecting, customer visits, and calls
- Support onboarding of new customers and ensure a smooth transition to operations and service teams
- Develop existing accounts through consistent relationship management and service engagement
- Identify and pursue opportunities to recover inactive or lost accounts
- Provide weekly reports summarizing sales activities, pipeline progress, and business wins or losses
- Maintain complete and timely documentation of all sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system, ensuring records are accurate and fully up to date at all times
- Represent AFS professionally within the local fleet and transportation community
- 10 years of successful sales or business development experience
- Proven ability to generate new business and build strong customer relationships
- Experience in fleet services, transportation, logistics, automotive service, heavy equipment, or related industries preferred
- Experience working in a field-based sales environment
- High-energy hunter mindset with strong relationship-building ability
- Advanced prospecting skills to identify and build own pipeline of opportunities
- Self-starter comfortable managing territory and field sales activity
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to quicky step in to resolve customer issues
- Commitment to ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Organized with strong administrative discipline and follow-through
- Proficiency using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong communication and customer engagement skills
- Ability to develop quotes and proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and close deals
- Base Salary $50-$70K commensurate with experience
