What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Network Engineer position at Epicor?
As an Associate Network Engineer, you will contribute to the design, installation, and maintenance of Epicor's network infrastructure. You will be responsible for supporting network-related issues, maintaining data connections and devices, and ensuring documentation and procedures are up to date. We are seeking applicants with foundational knowledge in network technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset to help drive reliable and secure connectivity across the organization.
What you will be doing:
- Perform maintenance of data connections and network devices, including restoring hardware and services
- Provide support for network-related issues using established solutions and escalate high-level concerns as needed
- Administer end-user configurations and assist in monitoring network performance, reporting issues proactively
- Ensure documentation is current and follow standard procedures to maintain consistency and compliance
What you will likely bring:
- 1 years of experience with LAN, WAN, and security technologies such as Palo Alto, Cisco, SonicWall (highly preferred) and IPSec VPNs; experience with public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and automation is desirable
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certification/experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience)

- Collaborative and team-oriented approach with the ability to build solid working relationships across functions and with external partners
