The Opportunity
We are seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager focused on net-new revenue generation. This role is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new opportunities across telecom and infrastructure markets.
This is a pure business development role—you will not be responsible for project delivery. Your focus is building pipeline, closing deals, and expanding our market presence.
What You’ll Do
- Generate and close new business across telecom, data centers, solar, and EV charging sectors
- Build and manage a strong pipeline initially within California, Nevada, and Oregon, and expanding nationally as opportunities present
- Develop relationships with carriers, developers, engineering firms, real estate owners, utilities, public agencies and public and private entities within the infrastructure space
- Originate opportunities involving:
- Site/land acquisition
- Permitting and jurisdictional approvals
- Infrastructure development and construction services
- Lead full sales cycle: prospecting → positioning → proposal → negotiation → close
- Structure and negotiate agreements (MSAs, development agreements, leases)
- Partner with internal teams to transition closed deals for execution
What You Bring
- 7–15 years of business development / sales experience
- Proven track record of identifying new opportunities and targets, and closing new, complex deals
- Experience in one or more:
- Telecommunications / wireless infrastructure
- Commercial real estate development
- Data centers / digital infrastructure
- Renewable energy or EV charging
- Strong network in California, Nevada, and/or Oregon
- Expertise in contract negotiation and multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Self-starter with a relentless drive to win new business
