Our client, a renowned global medical organization in Irvine, CA is actively recruiting for a Human Resources Generalist! The Human Resources Generalist's responsibilities are wide-ranging, acting as a jack-of-all-trades, with a strong focus on Recruiting and Benefits Administration. This role will require an experienced HR Generalist, who is looking for a unique opportunity to be part of all areas of HR, collaborate on corporate strategy, and partner with leaders across all fields. The compensation range for this role is $80K - $90K plus annual bonuses.
Responsibilities:
• Full cycle recruiting support including partnering with hiring managers, screening, requisition management, scheduling interviews, overseeing job description creation and processes.
• Manage all benefits administration, leave of absences, workers comp claims, and work with vendors/brokers.
• Partner and collaborate with leadership to determine strategies on employee relations, team-building, recruiting, retention, and ongoing management education.
• Manage new hire processes including onboarding, background checks and relevant verifications, orientation and training.
• HRIS Management including meticulous record keeping.
• Administrative tasks which can include assisting with culture based initiatives, planning company events, assisting HR leadership and C-Level suite as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR Generalist capacity; preferably, but not required, in Medical, Health, Manufacturing, and/or Medical Device.
• Strong experience with all areas of Human Resources, specifically Recruiting and Benefits Administration.
• Knowledge of full benefits administration; must demonstrate excellent working knowledge of workers compensation claims and all Leaves of Absences and show knowledge of relevant process.
• Must possess knowledge and ability to communicate benefits packages, plans offered, appropriate LOA's available in CA, and facilitate employee questions and inquiries regarding benefits.
• Superior ability to build relationships among leaders at all levels.
• Excellent knowledge of CA labor laws and regulations.
• Must be a self starter, with ability to work independently and self-direct.
• Experience and ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment, where you will be pulled in many directions.
• Demonstrate strong ethics, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or HR Certification.
• Experience working within an HRIS system (Paycom).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
