Now Hiring: Overnight Veterinary Technician – Epic Specialty & Emergency Pet Care (Saint Pete, FL)
Epic Specialty & Emergency Pet Care is looking for a dependable, and compassionate Overnight Veterinary Technician with previous ER experience to join our team. We are a locally owned, non-corporate specialty and emergency hospital committed to excellence in patient care and team culture.
Schedule:
Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Full-time weekend overnight shifts (3 nights per week).
Shift differential pay offered
What You'll Do:
- Provide skilled nursing care for emergency and hospitalized patients
- Monitor critical patients, administer treatments, and respond to emergencies
- Communicate with doctors, clients, and teammates with professionalism and empathy
- Maintain accurate medical records and patient logs
- Help keep our ICU and treatment areas clean, organized, and fully stocked
What We’re Looking For:
- 3 years of veterinary technician experience (emergency or specialty preferred)
- Strong skills in medication administration, assisting in procedures, running in-house lab tests, triage emergencies, manage hospitalized patients and client communications
- Ability to work independently overnight with confidence and sound judgment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- CVT, LVT, or RVT preferred, but not required if experienced
