What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Property Manager position at Epic Property Management?
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our property management team. Expected hire date is this month as we seek to employ an individual with passion for our EPIC company culture. Pay range is $16-$18 per hour plus commission and bonuses based on property portfolio occupancy and rent collections. The best candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in serving customers and will prioritize efficiencies and communication within the company.
Assistant Property Manager
Duties:
- Assist the property manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the property
- Provide excellent customer service to current and prospective tenants
- Assist with leasing and marketing efforts, including conducting property tours and processing rental applications
- Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely completion of work orders
- Assist with rent collection and financial reporting
- Maintain accurate tenant records and files
- Assist with budgeting and expense management
- Handle tenant inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
- Assist with property inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and other service providers
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with tenants, vendors, and team members
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in office software applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to organize and maintain files, records, and documents in an efficient manner
- Upselling skills to promote additional services or amenities to tenants
- Strong conflict management skills to handle tenant disputes or difficult situations
