What are the responsibilities and job description for the Photo/Video Team Coordinator position at Epic Productions?
Photo/Video Team Coordinator — Client Relationships & Growth Track (Tulsa, OK)
Full-Time · 35–50 hours/week with seasonal peaks · $50,000–$80,000/year · Pay scales with role
We're a local event-based production company focused on the wedding industry, hiring at our home office in Tulsa. We have a proven track record of excellence — what we're missing for our next stage of growth is more great people who combine real shooting ability with the people skills to keep clients happy and help build a team.
This is a role for someone who can shoot photo or video and is genuinely good with people — detailed, organized, and the kind of person others enjoy talking to. Day to day in Tulsa, you'd help manage client relationships, assist with hiring part-time shooters, and help make scheduling decisions. You don't need to be a master of both photo and video — but you should be strong enough in at least one to feel fully confident teaching someone else how to shoot it. (Being solid at both is a bonus, not a requirement.)
There's a real path here: long term, a coordinator who proves themselves can be promoted into a City Manager role, running one of our markets.
Cities we operate in:
- Tulsa, OK
- Dallas, TX
- Houston, TX
- San Antonio, TX
- Austin, TX
- Kansas City, MO
- St. Louis, MO
- Denver, CO
If you love photography or videography, are reliable and organized, enjoy working with people, and want to get paid to shoot while growing into leadership — this could be the dream role.
What you'd do:
- Client Relationships — Be a friendly, reliable point of contact who keeps clients feeling taken care of
- Hiring Support — Help find, vet, and onboard part-time shooters for our team
- Scheduling — Help make smart scheduling decisions across events
- Training — Be strong enough in photo or video to confidently teach that skill to newer shooters
- Communication — Work closely with our home office to keep quality high across every service
- Growth — Keep sharpening your craft and leadership as you work toward a City Manager track
What we're looking for:
Like any small business, our team members wear many hats — you don't need to be an expert in all of these to be hired. We're looking for someone who can help us do these things better:
- Solid photography or videography skills (strong enough in one to teach it; both is a plus) preferably in the wedding or human portrait industry
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Great with people. Warm, communicative, easy to talk to are all musts
- Good judgment on scheduling and on who represents our team well
- Experience creating social media content a plus
- Editing not required — you'll get a crash course in photo and video editing
- Marketing experience a plus, not required
Compensation & Schedule:
- $50,000–$80,000/year — pay scales with role and responsibility, with growth into a City Manager role
- Additional pay potential when shooting events
- Health, dental, and vision insurance available (company covers half the premium), plus paid time off
- Full-time, 35–50 hours per week with seasonal peaks
- Monday to Friday, with weekend availability required — most of our events happen on weekends
