Job Summary:
Join our team as a Warehouse Associate where you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks including inventory control, order picking, packaging, and maintaining a well-organized distribution center.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the rules and regulations of sending shipments to Amazon fufillment centers.
- Handle heavy lifting of packages and materials as required, 50 lbs boxes.
- Fabricate packaging materials to prepare products for shipment.
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes.
- Package items securely and ensure timely dispatch.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with team members to meet distribution deadlines.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or issues to management promptly.
Experience:
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is advantageous.
- Familiarity with order picking, inventory control, and shipping procedures is a plus.
- Proficiency in using warehouse equipment such as cherry pickers and RF scanners.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems is beneficial.
- Capability to adapt to varying tasks within the warehouse environment.
