Key Responsibilities
- Operate a cherry picker and forklift to move, load, and unload materials.
- Load completed spools onto trucks for shipment.
- Operate heavy equipment in accordance with company safety standards.
- Maintain equipment to ensure clean, safe, and reliable operation.
- Communicate effectively with the Shipping Foreman and coworkers.
- Follow directional signals and work in coordination with ground personnel.
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years' experience operating heavy equipment
- Proficiency in operating cherry pickers and forklifts is required
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Dependable and able to follow instructions
- Effective communicator
- Organized, responsible, and safety-focused
- Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
