What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Engineer position at EPIC PIPING, LLC?

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Supporting Estimating Department:
- Review specification when requested by Estimating department.
- Ensure cost impact is identified and provided to estimating.
- Fill in Customer questionnaire and provide copies of Certificates.
Specification Review at Job Award:
- Review specifications, prepare specification review notes, and upload on the shared drive.
- Submit Weld and NDE procedures.
- Prepare ITP and submit.
- Upload approved procedures on shared drive and communicate to the Quality Assurance Manager.
- Identify new weld procedure requirements and provide it to Welding Engineer to run new procedure.
- Conduct audit for key project requirements to ensure implementation.
- Communicate with Welding Engineer, get weld map and weld procedures to submit to customer.
- Review JI and approve; Ensure all requirements are included.
- Attend kick-off meeting for the project & understand the project requirements.
- Publish approved Customer approved procedures to Job Folders.
- Issue and control customer approved procedures to work areas.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: 2-3 years' experience in related field
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Office
- Certification/Licenses: NACE Level II or III preferred
