What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabrication Supervisor position at EPIC PIPING, LLC?
JD OF FABRICATION SUPERVISOR
- Supervising and coordinating the activities of workers involved in metal fabrication processes (structural fabrication)
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining clean, orderly, and safe work areas
- To follow the plan given from the Engineer for daily /monthly targets
- Interpreting the approved drawings, specifications, and job orders to workers, and assigning duties accordingly
- Inspecting materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions
- To Follow the SOP’s
- Handle multiple projects
- Knowledge about the different metallurgy plates & pipes
- Conducting employee training in equipment operations, work, and safety procedures, or company policies
- Recommending measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality
- Assessing production schedules and estimating worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments
- Pipe supports fabrication knowledge is highly preferred (Experience in Products like cradle/saddle supports, clamp supports, trunnion & Reinforcement supports.
- Communicating with other supervisors/foremen to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
- Ordering necessary supplies and materials for the shop required.
- Knowledge for making dies/fixtures for the products which we fabricate for pipe supports Production.
