PACKAGING OPERATORS - PHARMACEUTICAL
This is a Full Time Hourly UNION position
First Shift: 8am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday plus overtime when required
Candidates must be familiar with working in cGMP/SOP driven environment.
Candidates must demonstrate good safety practices at all times, including appropriate use of protective equipment.
Candidates must be able to work effectively as part of a team in a quality oriented environment to meet company objectives and commitments.
Candidates must be able to READ and WRITE English proficiently
Essential Job Functions include (but not limited to):
- Operate various types of packaging equipment efficiently while ensuring quality.
- Complete all necessary batch record documentation in accurate and timely manner.
- Perform all necessary cleaning procedures during product change.
- Perform periodic in process line checks with accuracy.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of cGMP's.
- Understand and follow all SOP's that pertain to this position.
- Work overtime as needed.
- Other tasks assigned by Lead Operator, Supervisor, Manager or Director.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to stand, bend, and move around for the entire shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and use a pallet jack.
- Must be able to use all equipment required including protective equipment such as safety shoes, dust masks, etc.
- Must be able to work overtime when required.
- THIS IS A UNION POSITION Hourly rate, weekly pay. Benefits including medical/rx, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k, vacation, sick, personal and paid holidays
