On-Site Warehouse Supervisor (Bilingual Spanish/English Required)
Location: Islandia, NY
Pay: $47,500 – $52,000 per year

About the Role:
We are seeking a professional, reliable, and bilingual On-Site Warehouse Supervisor to support daily warehouse operations at a large-scale food distribution facility in Islandia, NY.

This role is responsible for overseeing employees, supporting operational efficiency, maintaining workplace safety standards, and serving as a key communication link between the warehouse team and branch leadership.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent people skills, leadership abilities, and a team-oriented mindset who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
-Supervise and support warehouse employees across multiple shifts and departments
-Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by ensuring adherence to company safety policies and procedures
-Conduct daily safety meetings, stretching exercises, and warehouse floor walkthroughs
-Monitor employee attendance, productivity, and workplace concerns while maintaining consistent communication with branch staff
-Serve as the main point of communication between warehouse operations and branch management
-Assist with employee onboarding, training, coaching, and workplace support
-Document incidents, safety concerns, and employee matters accurately and professionally
-Support timekeeping processes and ensure accurate employee clock-in/clock-out procedures
-Promote a productive, organized, respectful, and team-focused workplace culture

Work Environment
-This position is based in a food distribution warehouse environment and may include working in temperature-controlled areas, coolers, and freezer environments.
-Employees may work around warehouse equipment including:
Forklifts (sit-down and stand-up)
Electric pallet jacks
Reach trucks
Cherry pickers

Qualifications Required:
-Fluent in English and Spanish (Bilingual Required)
-Previous experience in warehouse operations, team supervision, staffing, logistics, or employee support preferred
-Strong leadership and problem-solving skills

-Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levelsComfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Schedule Flexibility Requirement:
-Flexibility is required for this position. Due to operational demands in a warehouse environment, candidates must be willing and able to stay beyond scheduled hours when business needs require additional support. Extended hours may be necessary and are common depending on operational volume and staffing needs.

Physical Requirements
-Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
-Ability to work in cold and temperature-controlled environments when necessary
-Ability to work safely around warehouse equipment and machinery
