Seeking an Industrial Mechanic/Maintenance Tech for a specialized manufacturing facility in Windsor, CT.
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00AM–5:00PM | Full-Time
Duties: The Industrial Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimization of complex industrial machinery and equipment, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems on various industrial equipment.
- Dismantle, assemble, and adjust machinery using manuals, drawings, and standard tools.
- Install, align, and calibrate equipment components.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Complete basic electrical tasks such as wiring, circuit repairs, and component replacements.
- Use precision tools for soldering, crimping, and part fabrication.
- Safely handle and troubleshoot electrical systems, including high-voltage equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Technical or trade school certificate in electrical, mechanical, or related technology (Preferred)
- 1 -2 years of relevant maintenance or industrial repair experience
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and blueprints
- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, plumbing, and welding
- Experience using hand tools, meters, gauges, and alignment equipment
- Must communicate effectively in English and Spanish
