Epic Personnel Partners is hiring a Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturing facility in Windsor, CT. This company specializes in advanced surface treatments and precision manufacturing for industries like aerospace, defense, and automotive. This role requires hands-on experience with the setup, operation, and breakdown of machinery. Under direct supervision, you will ensure machines are properly prepared, operate efficiently, and produce high-quality output.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Setup & Operation: Prepare and operate surface treatment and production equipment according to established procedures and safety standards.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, calibration, and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance.
- Quality Control: Monitor machine operations and product quality, making adjustments as necessary to meet specifications.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of machine settings, maintenance activities, and production outputs.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Technical/Trade School preferred.
- Experience:
- Required: Hands-on experience with machine setup, operation, and breakdown.
- Required: Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, or related work, including soldering and assembly techniques.
- Skills:
- Manual dexterity and ability to handle repetitive tasks.
- Ability to read and follow instructions and assembly drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Other Requirements:
- Ability to work under direct supervision.
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and company procedures.
Work Environment & Supervision
- Receives direct and detailed instructions from a supervisor.
- Works in a structured, repetitive manufacturing environment.
- Little to no decision-making authority; work follows defined processes and procedures.
What We Offer
- Pay of $19-$30 per hour
- Full-time schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
