INJECTION MOLD POLISHER

Epic Personnel Partners is actively hiring a Injection Mold Polisher for a mold making company in Bloomfield, CT.Pay Rate: $20-$30/hour (Depending on Experience)Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift | Full-Time  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:· Polish all types of tool steel, copper and aluminum from a fine stone finish to a mirror finish.· Ability to deburr molding areas maintaining sharp edges.· Ability to read and understand blueprints.· Ability to troubleshoot polishing issues and repair molds from verbal instructions, blueprints and visually looking at sample molded parts.· Ability to understand mold shut-offs and help “fit” the mold shut-offs by polishing when needed.· Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. safely.· Proficiency with polishing equipment and supplies.· May· May be required to polish surfaces to print dimensions using an indicator.· May be required to “wet vapor home” or “glass Bead” components when necessary.· Wear appropriate PPE as required.· Keep work area clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment.· Proactively support improvement of the department by providing suggestions and recommendations to the Manufacturing Manager.· Perform other duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements:· Good mechanical aptitude.· Proficient with power tools.· Diligence, attention to detail and good eyesight.· Excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination.· Comfortable with repetitive tasks.· Excellent reading comprehension and capacity to follow written directions.· Good written and verbal communication skills.· Excellent problem-solving skills.be required to do some general maintenance on polishing equipment.  SkillsPrecision polishing (fine stone to mirror finish)Blueprint reading and interpretationMold deburring and edge maintenanceTroubleshooting and problem-solving for mold and polishing issuesEquipment operation and basic maintenance  Qualifications:Skilled in polishing tool steel, copper, and aluminum from fine stone finish to mirror finish.Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and using them to guide polishing and mold repair work.Experienced in mold deburring and maintaining precise, sharp edges in molding areas.Ability to troubleshoot polishing issues and perform mold repairs using verbal instructions, blueprints, and sample parts.Proficient with polishing equipment and supplies, including performing basic equipment maintenance and safely lifting up to 40 lbs. #HART1If you have experience as a Tool and Die Maker / Tool Room Technician– Experience working with molds, tool steels, and tight tolerances.Mold Polisher / Mold Finishing Technician– Direct experience polishing molds to various finishes, deburring, and fitting shut-offs.Machinist (especially precision or mold shop)– Background in working with metal components, reading blueprints, and using finishing tools.**Metal Finishing / Surfacewe encourage you to apply!Company DescriptionEpic Personnel Partners, LLC, a woman-owned staffing firm based in Pleasanton, CA, specializes in building long-term relationships with clients, candidates, and employees.
