Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare light meals and assist with nutrition
- Perform light housekeeping and household support
- Provide medication reminders
- Observe and report changes in client condition
- Complete accurate daily documentation and visit notes
- Follow individualized care plans while maintaining client dignity, privacy, and independence
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience caring for seniors, older adults, or individuals with disabilities
- HHA, CNA, PCA, Direct Care, DSP, or related healthcare experience preferred
- Certification is a plus but not required. Applicants must be able to successfully complete a competency evaluation if applicable
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Reliable transportation required
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Must successfully pass a background check
- Excellent communication, compassion, reliability, and professionalism
