Position Summary
The ServiceChannel Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily execution of maintenance operations while managing work orders through the ServiceChannel platform. This role ensures preventive and corrective maintenance activities are completed efficiently, vendors are properly managed, service requests are prioritized, and all maintenance activities support a safe, clean, and fully operational distribution center.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesServiceChannel Management
- Manage all maintenance work orders within the ServiceChannel platform.
- Review, assign, prioritize, and monitor incoming maintenance requests.
- Ensure work orders are completed accurately, on time, and properly documented.
- Track preventive maintenance schedules and ensure compliance.
- Monitor work order metrics, response times, completion rates, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment history, and vendor documentation.
- Generate reports and provide updates on maintenance performance and outstanding work orders.
Team Leadership
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of maintenance technicians.
- Assign work based on business priorities and technician skill sets.
- Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to maintenance employees.
- Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
- Support employee development and maintain high productivity standards.
Maintenance Operations
- Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
- Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, conveyor, mechanical, and facility-related issues.
- Perform routine facility inspections and identify repair needs.
- Ensure equipment reliability while minimizing downtime.
- Assist with emergency repairs as needed.
- Coordinate contractor and vendor activities when outside services are required.
Facility Maintenance
- Ensure housekeeping and cleanliness of maintenance areas, docks, aisles, shipping offices, restrooms, break rooms, and exterior areas.
- Monitor building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, doors, dock equipment, and related infrastructure.
- Ensure maintenance materials, parts, and supplies are properly organized and inventoried.
- Recommend equipment replacements and facility improvements.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, company safety policies, GMPs (when applicable), and facility procedures.
- Conduct safety inspections and address hazards promptly.
- Maintain proper lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, efficiency, and reliability.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent maintenance training preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Experience managing maintenance work orders through ServiceChannel or a similar Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Strong knowledge of:
- Electrical systems

- Building maintenance
- Experience coordinating vendors and contractors.
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
Computer Skills
- ServiceChannel (required or preferred)
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Microsoft Windows
- CMMS software experience preferred

Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 30 pounds.

- Respond to emergency maintenance situations throughout the facility.
Work Environment
- Distribution center or warehouse environment.
- Exposure to varying temperatures, including refrigerated or freezer areas as required.
- Exposure to moving mechanical equipment, forklifts, conveyors, and industrial machinery.
- May occasionally work outside normal business hours or be on-call for emergency maintenance support.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a high-volume distribution center.
- Experience managing vendor relationships through ServiceChannel.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance planning and scheduling.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or industrial maintenance certifications.
- Experience with KPI reporting, maintenance analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
