JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Title: SCIT Financial Supervisor
Reports to: Logistics Budget/Project Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt
Job Purpose: Serve as a key member of the PO management team by keeping track of new vendors and cost savings to the customer. Understanding all Logistic cost to implement, develop and train.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Maintains and tracks documents related to assigned loads to carriers and their agreed rates to the customer
· Tracking of cost savings of current lanes, new lanes and potential lanes
· Tracking of rate sheets of all newly on-boarded vendors by lane and by carrier
· Creating and maintaining trends graphs of all areas of cost weekly, monthly and annually
· Support of project plans and forecasting cost for upcoming projects
· KPI tracking and reporting, using trend graphs
· Keeps track of financial reporting of multiple warehouses
· Designs, creates, and implements impact planning to the supply chain network for specific or multiple warehouses as needed by using TMW and any other tracking metrics available
· Works with management teams nationwide to reduce cost in all areas of opportunity
· Other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities
· Good organizational skills
· Strong sense of team work
· Strong computer skills required; excellent with Excel and all Microsoft Office Automation
· Must be able to interact with all levels of management and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Must be able to manage and lead a diverse workforce.
Education and/or Experience:
· 1-2 years of accounting experience
· Has knowledge of commonly-used accounting concepts, practices and procedures
· Experience with transportation management systems (Truck Mate) a plus

· Ability to safely work around/with heavy moving equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, clamps, scissor lifts) in a high paced environment.
