Printing Production Planner

Job Title: Production Planner (Printing Industry)Location: Manchester, CTPay: $65,000 – $85,000 per year (depending on experience)Job Type: Full-Time | Direct HireAbout the RoleWe are partnering with a well-established commercial printing manufacturer in Manchester, CT that is looking to add an experienced Production Planner to their team. This is a direct hire opportunity, not temporary, offering long-term stability with a growing and respected organization.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being at the center of operations—coordinating schedules, collaborating with production teams, and ensuring projects move smoothly from start to finish. The ideal candidate understands the pace and workflow of a commercial print environment and thrives in a fast-moving production setting.What You’ll Do• Plan and manage daily and weekly print production schedules based on customer orders, production capacity, and material availability• Coordinate workflow between prepress, press operations (sheetfed/web offset or digital), bindery, and finishing departments• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to help keep projects on track and meet delivery timelines• Communicate production priorities and timelines with operations, customer service, and purchasing teams• Ensure materials, paper stock, and other resources are available for upcoming production runs• Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency and reduce production bottlenecks• Maintain scheduling information within ERP or Print MIS systemsWhat We’re Looking For• Minimum 3 years of production planning experience required• Printing industry experience required• Understanding of print production workflows including prepress, press, bindery, and finishing• Experience working with ERP or Print MIS systems preferred• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment• Excellent communication and coordination skillsCompensation & Benefits• Salary: $65,000 – $85,000 annually (DOE)• Direct hire, full-time position• Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance• 401(k) with 5% company match• Life insurance• Opportunity to join a stable and well-established manufacturing teamCompany DescriptionAbout Epic Personnel Partners, LLCEpic Personnel Partners is a woman-owned staffing firm dedicated to forging strong, lasting relationships.
