Staffing Scheduler Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage employee schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels across all departments.
- Collaborate with department managers to determine staffing needs and allocate resources accordingly.
- Utilize scheduling software to create and maintain employee schedules, taking into account factors such as availability, skills, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to address unexpected absences, staffing shortages, and other scheduling conflicts.
- Communicate with employees regarding their schedules, shift changes, and any other scheduling-related matters.
- Assist with recruitment efforts by scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate assessments, and providing administrative support to the HR department.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee schedules, time-off requests, and attendance.
Staffing Scheduler Qualifications:
- Previous experience in scheduling, staffing coordination, or related administrative role.
- SNF/LTC experience is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); associate or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field (preferred).
