This position involves various essential responsibilities and activities, including:
- Upholds company values, ethics, and policies
- Promotes teamwork and a respectful environment
- Ensures resident dignity, rights, and quality care
- Supports hiring, onboarding, and training of care staff
- Assists with care plans, medication management, and documentation
- Communicates with stakeholders and coordinates appointments
- Provides in-the-moment staff training and process improvements
- Monitors resident health and updates care plans as needed
- Maintains compliance with regulations and safety standards
- Manages staffing schedules and daily care operations
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must have an active LVN License in California.
- High school diploma or equivalent with prior care experience in assisted living or skilled nursing, along with valid First Aid and CPR Certification.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs.
- Demonstrated abilities in customer service, interpersonal communication, and teamwork.
- Skillful and professional interaction with coworkers, residents, family members, agencies, and the public.
- Understanding and consistent adherence to relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Successful completion of background check, health exams, and other pre-employment criteria.
- Sufficient English language proficiency (reading, writing, speaking) for effective job performance.
