Assistant Director of Nursing Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing department.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring adherence to all policies and procedures.
- Support the development and implementation of nursing care plans that meet the needs of our residents.
- Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and assist in conducting performance evaluations.
- Participate in the recruitment, training, and retention of nursing staff.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and assist in preparing for surveys and inspections.
- Address and resolve any resident or family concerns related to nursing care.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for residents.
- Step in to fulfill the duties of the Director of Nursing in their absence.
Assistant Director of Nursing Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- Nursing experience, in a supervisory or leadership role.
