Key Responsibilities
- Package Preparation: Select the correct shipping container, insert prescription documents, and use packing materials to ensure safe delivery.
- Sealing & Labeling: Properly seal and label each package with accuracy and care.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and monitor automated and manual packaging systems, respond to alerts, and use barcode scanners.
- Organization & Inventory: Keep your workspace clean and stocked with supplies; perform routine inventory checks.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow all VA and FSR safety guidelines, including those for hazardous medications or materials.
- Physical Tasks: Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic computer and typing skills.
- Ability to read and communicate clearly in English.
- Ability to meet production and accuracy standards.
- Physical ability to lift and move packages (up to 50 lbs).
- Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.
