Requirements & Qualifications
• Cooking experience including experience as a grill cook, line cook, or food prep cook
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy in executing tasks
• Understanding of cooking methods and be able to operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Physical endurance to stand for entire shift
• Self-motivated and self-directed
• Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks
• Willing to wear a uniform and comply with a dress code
• Able to work nights and weekends
• Able to read and write
• Previous experience in cooking, culinary arts, or other related fields
• Strong attention to detail
• 16 years of age or older
Responsibilities & Duties
• Set up, clean, organize and stock stations with all necessary food and supplies
• Prepare food and ingredients for lunch and dinner service
• Prepare utensils, grill and oven
• Cook menu items according to recipes
• Answer, report and follow manager's instructions
• Clean and maintain station, kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances
• Store all leftover food properly
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a quick, timely fashion
• Comply with food health and safety standards
