Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Senior Accountant role located in New Smyrna Beach, FL. The Senior Accountant will perform these essential functions:
- Preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
- Prepare and post journal entries for daily activity.
- Perform account reconciliation process for all general ledger and bank accounts.
- Prepare financial statements.
- Assist/Perform with daily business transactions.
- Assist/Prepare payroll with accounting team.
- Manage internal controls and assess any accounting risk.
- Assist with External Audit-related tasks.
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA certification is a plus)
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management
- Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and general ledger management
- Expertise in compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial analysis
- Experience in public accounting, tax accounting, or aviation related accounting is an advantage
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Excel (Mandatory), Google Suite and data analysis tools (Oracle NetSuite is a plus)
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
