Epic fiber solutions is a fast-growing, South Bend IN. based company that provides a wide range of solutions for the residential and commercial fiber optic industry. We are currently looking for a motivated, and detail-oriented Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn and grow in the industry with a commitment to excellence. This position will be responsible for installing and burying fiber optic cable at residential properties
Skills:
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers in a professional manner.
- Ability to work under the weather and work with a spade shovel burying cable.
- Ability to use hand tools safely.
- Knowledge of state safety regulations and proper installation techniques.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check. ( NO FELONIES)
- must own a vehicle capable of towing a small trailer under 3500 pounds to carry a machine that buries and bores under driveways
- must have own cellphone with internet access
- ability to travel in a 75 miles radius to varius towns like: GRAND RAPIDS, IONIA, OTSEGO, PORTAGE, GRAND HAVEN, BYRON CENTER, SOUTH HAVEN, JACKSON, COLOMA, STEVENSVILLE AND MORE TO COME.
- Bilingual is a plus as many customers speak spanish
- this is a 1099 position payments are 2 weeks from start and every week after that

Pay: $1,000.00 - $2,500.00 per week
