Duties

- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Implement care plans developed by healthcare professionals, including those for dementia care and behavioral health needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Support clients with long-term care needs, including those recovering from ICU stays or dealing with infectious diseases.
- Educate clients and their families on health management strategies based on physiology knowledge.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in critical care or home health preferred.
- Knowledge of systems related to patient care and management is beneficial.
- Familiarity with dementia care techniques is a plus.
- Strong understanding of behavioral health principles is desirable.
- Ability to lift patients safely and assist with mobility challenges.
- Experience in long-term care settings or teaching hospitals is an advantage.
