Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and swiftly
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with food safety protocols, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices
- Support team members by bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast-food restaurants is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations are essential
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen experience can be advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Experience in customer service roles that involve serving or cashiering will help you excel in this position
- An understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices ensures safe food handling at all times
