We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate General Dentist to join our dental family 1-2 times per week. Compensation at 32% of collections. Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures including dental examinations, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and explain procedures clearly to patients.
- Utilize dental imaging technology and dental fabrication techniques to support diagnosis and treatment.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with dental team members in four-handed dentistry to optimize patient care efficiency.
- Manage pediatric patients with specialized approaches in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery when necessary.
- Stay current with advancements in dental terminology, medical terminology, and dental office procedures to ensure high-quality care.
- Ensure adherence to all safety guidelines related to anatomy knowledge, infection control, and medical documentation.
Experience
- Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment is required.
- Proficiency in dental hygiene techniques: prophylaxis, SRP, perio maintenances.
- Familiarity with dental software such as open Dental and Dexis is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures with precision.
- Strong understanding of medical records management and medical imaging techniques.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and best practices for patient confidentiality is essential.
- Experience with dental fabrication processes and infection control protocols will be highly valued.
