APRN-PMHNP-BC Full Time

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a board certified APRN-PMHNP-BC, you are responsible for performing comprehensive mental health examinations, prescribing medications, and offering ongoing treatment of mental health disorders in the outpatient clinic for Adults and some children and adolescents. The APRN is part of the medical staff working in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team of therapists, clinicians, care coordinators and paraprofessionals. Malpractice insurance is provided, as needed.

This is a full-time 40 hours per week position that includes the following responsibilities:

• Providing psychiatric assessments and treatment services to Adults and children/Adolescents 5 and up
• Working a hybrid model of care to our patients that includes in-person onsite at our outpatient mental health clinic and our in-patient facility with persons with substance use and/or co-occurring mental health disorders an MARS Clinic.
• Work Schedule: 5 days week and occasional weekends
• Providing on call support for patients for emergent issues when needed
• Maintaining an active collaborative practice agreement with our qualified supervising physician
• Shared On-call, some nights and weekends

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Current Florida license as an APRN PMHNP-BC (dual licensure as an FNP and PMHNP-BC preferred)
• Prefer one (1) years’ experience in providing outpatient psychiatry services to children and adolescents, however, will train the right recent graduate
• DEA license in the State of Florida
• Current valid driver’s license in the State of Florida
• Level 2 background screen and a negative drug screen
• Professional References
