As part of the Accounting Department, theAccounting and Payroll Administratorwill share in the responsibilities of processing payroll, posting payroll journal entries, onboarding new hires, maintaining employee records, month-end and year-end accounting processes, answering questions, and other duties as assigned. What You'll Do
As part of the Accounting Department, theAccounting and Payroll Administratorwill share in the responsibilities of processing payroll, posting payroll journal entries, onboarding new hires, maintaining employee records, month-end and year-end accounting processes, answering questions, and other duties as assigned. A great attitude and an upbeat personality are a must.Other expectations may include:
- Administer payroll through an outside payroll company
- Communicate professionally and efficiently with vendors and outside payroll company
- Collaborate with team members and other departments within the company
- Make some adjusting entries to the General Ledger
- Assemble and present necessary reports
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed?
- 2-4 years of Accounting experience. An Associate's or Bachelor'sDegree in Accounting is preferred
- Payroll processing experience is required
- Experience with enterprise-level accounting software is helpful
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Must be able to keep matters strictly confidential
- Have an outgoing personality and will contribute to a positive working environment
- Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer without Sponsorship now or in the Future
- Entry-Level to Experienced Accounting Position
