WHAT YOU'LL DO
As part of the Engineering Department, theElectrical Engineering Internwill participate as a valuable member of Epic Aircraft's Engineering team. This is a full-time, paid summer internship available to students currently enrolled in an applicable Engineering or Aerospace program. The intern will gain real-world experience doing a variety of tasks related toEpic E1000GXAircraft.
- Participate as a multidisciplinary Engineering team member
- Assist Engineers and other team members with the design, development, and testing of electrical aircraft parts, components, and equipment
- Work with other departments (Manufacturing, Quality, Flight line) to design test equipment to help increase efficiency on the manufacturing line.
- Assist in the test analysis and other test-related tasks, including test set-up and coordination
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Junior or Senior Level Electrical Engineering College Student working towards a bachelor's or master's degree. Aviation-related courseworkora strong interest in aviation is preferred but not required.
- Ability to create test instructions
- Ability to create basic wire diagrams
- Basic electrical and/or avionics troubleshooting experience
- Ability to follow prescribed processes, specifications, and guidelines
- Work well independently and in a team witha positive attitude & professional presence
- Fundamental understanding of basic engineering principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, high level of accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Must be reliable and dependable with an excellent attendance and punctuality record
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future
