Job Description
A professional caregiver under the direction of the director, utilizes the nursing process, nursing standards and physician’s orders, plans, provides, and directs care and teaching of patients and families. Exhibits the values of F.I. R.S.T. (Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Service, and Trust).
WORKING CONDITIONS, HAZARDS AND PHYSICAL EFF ORT:
Works in a well lighted, ventilated and air conditioned area. Often exposed to unpleasant odors, sights and sounds. Long periods in a stationary position, moving around the unit, and moving heavy objects are required. Risks exposure to disease, infection, physical strain and assault. Risks exposure to blood, body fluids, tissue and radiation. Must be able to move or position 50 lb. independently.

Patient, family members and significant others, physicians and Associates, othe r health care providers, community resource personnel, administrative staff and Medical Center support services.
