Role Description
As an Associate Designer – Men's Accessories, you will support the Men's Accessories Design team throughout the product development process across bags, small leather goods (SLGs), belts, trims, hardware, and other accessories. You will work closely with senior design leadership and cross-functional teams to support product development from concept through production while ensuring quality, technical accuracy, and seasonal timelines are met.
This role is ideal for a creative and detail-oriented designer with strong technical knowledge of accessories and a passion for men's fashion.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct market, trend, and vintage research to support seasonal design concepts.
• Create mood boards, presentation materials, and assist with visual merchandising displays.
• Develop hand sketches, illustrations, technical drawings, and color CADs for bags, small leather goods, and belts.
• Prepare and maintain technical packs, including hardware, trims, and construction specifications.
• Manage product information and documentation in Centric PLM throughout the product lifecycle.
• Create correction specifications and communicate design revisions clearly with cross-functional teams.
• Partner with Design, Product Development, Technical Design, Merchandising, and global teams to support prototype development and product execution.
• Coordinate product imagery and documentation for internal systems.
• Maintain organized sample rooms, material libraries, and presentation spaces.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accessories Design or a related field.
• 2–5 years of accessories design or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of bag construction, materials, hardware, and trims.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Microsoft Excel, and Centric PLM (or similar PLM systems).
• Strong technical drawing and hand sketching skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Experience with Rhino 3D or SolidWorks is a plus.
• Mock-up and handcraft skills are an advantage.
