Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and verify excavation activities for compliance with project specs and drawings
- Monitor pile driving operations, including verification of installation methods and documentation
- Inspect formwork, rebar placement, and concrete pouring for multiple foundation structures
- Maintain accurate daily inspection reports and documentation
- Identify and communicate any non-conformance issues to the Construction Manager
- Operate independently with minimal day-to-day direction
- Strong civil/foundations background required — excavation, pile driving, and concrete experience essential
- Chief Inspector (Chief I) level experience
- Highly self-directed; comfortable managing scope without close supervision
- Relevant certifications a plus (CWI, NACE, API, etc. depending on scope)
- Prior pipeline/midstream or heavy civil construction experience preferred
