Punch Out Technician, Residential Construction

The Punch Out Technician is responsible for performing the final “punch out” work on homes prior to the Quality Mark inspection.

This may include:

• Trim carpentry -door and cabinet adjustments, replacement of damaged trim, hardware installation
• Painting, Drywall, Caulking – interior and exterior repair as needed
• Mechanical/Electric – change covers, bulbs
• Mechanical/Heating, Ventilating & Air Conditioning – adjust registers and grills, change filters

Responsibilities:

• Monitors and prioritizes own work assignments to ensure work is completed on time and to Epcon’s quality standards.
• Maintains all work areas and cleans up when complete.
• Maintains inventory of supplies and orders supplies through Superintendent/Project Manager.
• Follows Epcon and OSHA safety policies and practices.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years experience doing a broad range of home repairs
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to use own vehicle for business purposes.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Attention to detail and a history of ensuring quality finishes
• Excellent internal and external customer service skills; demonstrates professionalism when interacting with prospects and buyers
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
